Who runs this

Tariffed is independently run from Manitoba, Canada. It is unaffiliated with either government or any listed business. Using the site accepts these terms.

What a tariff reading is

Tariff readings use U.S. government lists as of the stated date. They are not customs, legal or classification advice. Lists change; check financial decisions with a licensed customs broker.

Listings, corrections and removals

Listings come from submissions and public reports. Submissions are screened for spam, not audited; I am not responsible for supplied details. Businesses can request corrections or removal through the form or a company email. I may edit or remove listings.

How you may use the site

Read, link and buy from listed businesses. Do not bulk-copy the registry, scrape beyond ordinary reading, build mailing or sales lists, or knowingly submit false details.

Who owns what is here

The site, wording and registry collection are copyright 2026. Ownership data on the data page is CC BY 4.0. Tariff schedules and notices are U.S. government publications; business names belong to their businesses.

What I do with what you send

Forms voluntarily collect entered details and an email. I use them for listings, corrections and replies; I do not sell or share them. Hosting may process submissions outside Canada.

No cookies. The host retains request logs, including IP addresses, and an identifier-free visit counter. Tariff-search input stays in your browser.

Under PIPEDA, you may request access, correction or deletion of your information at hello@tariffed.ca. I respond within thirty days.

The ad filter extension

The Tariffed Ad Filter processes pages locally to find ads. It collects and sends no data. Its brand list is bundled; its storage permission saves settings and allowed brands on your device.

Ads are hidden after loading, so advertisers may still count an impression.

No warranty, and the limit on liability

The site is provided as is, without guarantees of accuracy or availability. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for losses from its use, including duties, shipment delays or lost sales.

Changes, and the law that applies

Terms may change; the date above identifies this version. Manitoba and federal Canadian law apply, with jurisdiction in Manitoba courts.
